After the self-introductions, a professional presentation was put on by SMUD represen-tatives: Jan Schori and Rob Landon. That was followed by Ricky Sandhu introducing the new Gaylord Restaurant with new management. Sponsors and participants of upcoming meetings and events were organized. Afterwards every-one got to enjoy Indian-inspired pizza.
The Chamber sends its sincerest condolences to the Sibia family for the loss of Tejinder Singh Sibia. He was a dear friend to the Chamber and to the community. His memory and legacy will always live on. The recent mixer at the Holiday Inn in Elk Grove was dedicated to his memory and it was attended by many of Sacramento’s most respected individuals from politicians to veterans to businessmen.
The Annual New Years was a huge success. It sold out a full month before the day and was met with wide anticipation. Those who attended described it as a great evening with great food and great raffle prizes. Members are already volunteering to sponsor next year's event.

The April Business Mixer at Lampost Pizza was held at 7pm on Wednesday, April 16th in the conference room at the Lampost Pizza in Natomas. After the self-introductions, a professional presentation was put on by SMUD representatives: Jan Schori and Rob Landon. That was followed by Ricky Sandhu introducing the new Gaylord Restaurant with new management. Ricky also laid out his business and strategic marketing plan for the restaurant and let members in on the process of running a restaurant.
Sponsors and participants of upcoming mixers and events were organized: June Business Mixer (to be held at Gaylord Indian Restaurant in Sacramento), IVACC Picnic 2008 in the sweet memory of Tejinder Singh Sibia, October Business Mixer (to be sponsored by Sarla Peralta), and IVACC's December New Years Party.
Afterwards everyone got to enjoy Indian-inspired pizza.
